How It Works: Personalized Private Dining
At Day’s Table by Design, every in-home dining experience is customized to your preferences, guest count, and occasion.
We charge an hourly chef rate of $100, which covers all shopping, preparation, cooking, serving, and cleanup.
Each menu item is then priced per plate, based on selected courses, portions, and any special requests.
A detailed quote will be provided after your consultation. Hourly requirements varies depending on:

To confirm your reservation:

A 50% deposit is required for bookings made within a week of the dinner date or once your scheduled dinner is one week away.

Final payment is due the day of service.

Kalua Pork & Cabbage – $25 plated / $8 buffet
Slow-roasted, hand-pulled pork with green cabbage. Served plated with jasmine rice and pineapple salsa, or buffet-style as entrée only.
Loco Moco – $24 plated / $9 buffet
Traditional Hawaiian comfort food: seared beef patties over steamed rice, topped with brown gravy and sunny-side-up eggs. Plated with mac salad or offered as entrée only buffet-style.
Shoyu Chicken – $23 plated / $8 buffet
Bone-in chicken thighs braised in soy, garlic, and ginger. Served plated with rice and pickled cucumbers, or buffet-style as entrée only.
Huli Huli Chicken Skewers – $26 plated / $9 buffet
Grilled pineapple-soy marinated chicken thighs. Plated with grilled veggies and sweet corn or buffet-style entrée only.
Island Fried Rice – $22 plated / $7 buffet (+$3/$1 for shrimp or chicken)
Spam, Portuguese sausage, and egg stir-fried with rice. Served plated or as a buffet rice entrée. Optional protein add-ons.
Coconut Ube Sweet Rolls (Dessert Add-on) – $9 plated / $3 buffet
Ube and coconut milk rolls with glaze. Available plated or served buffet-style.
Teriyaki Chicken – $24 plated / $8 buffet
Grilled chicken thighs glazed in house teriyaki sauce. Served plated with white rice and sesame seeds or buffet-style as entrée only.
Hawaiian Sweetbread Sliders – $27 plated / $10 buffet
Mini sandwiches on Hawaiian sweetbread buns with your choice of pulled pork, teriyaki chicken, or grilled veggies. Served plated or build-your-own style for buffets.

3-Course Experience – $108 per guest
• Seared Ahi on Crispy Taro Chips with Wasabi Crème and Mango-Lilikoi Drizzle - Perfectly seared ahi tuna, sliced thin and served atop house-made taro chips. Finished with a dollop of wasabi crème fraîche and a vibrant mango-lilikoi (passion fruit) reduction for a sweet heat.
• Huli Huli Chicken Breast Medallions – Boneless chicken glazed with pineapple-soy reduction. Served with coconut jasmine rice and grilled broccolini.
• Lilikoi Haupia Parfait – Layers of passionfruit curd, coconut haupia, and graham crunch topped with whipped cream.
5-Course Experience – $132 per guest
• Mini Crab Cakes with Yuzu Mayo – Golden pan-seared crab cakes served with a tangy yuzu mayo.
• Seared Ahi Bites – Lightly seared ahi with avocado mousse and citrus glaze.
• Macadamia-Crusted Mahi Mahi – Seared mahi with mango beurre blanc, taro mash, and sautéed green beans.
• Mango Butter Mochi Squares – Chewy mango mochi drizzled with warm ginger syrup.
• Coconut Shortbread with Pineapple-Lime Curd – Crisp coconut shortbread topped with bright pineapple-lime curd.
